Byte-Size Challenges are designed to be just that....a small chunk of technology learning that you can undertake in your own time at your own pace (to an extent).
You can enrol in a Challenge whenever you have some time to spend on your own professional learning.
The format for each challenge is similar in order to make it as easy as possible because you are very busy people.
Essentially each Challenge contains two parts and both need to be completed to be recognised for completing the Challenge. You must submit all parts and examples of how you could use these in your professional practice before a PD certificate is issued.
We have tried to identify tools that are essentially free and cross platforms - as long as you have a reasonably up-to-date computer, web browser and an internet connection you should have no trouble using any of the tools.
These challenges are designed for teacher professional development, so please ensure that you read any Terms and Conditions carefully as only some of these tools can be used by students in the primary classroom.
These challenges are based on material developed by Danielle Peters, CEO Ballarat, and Vickie Vance, CEO Bathurst. Thank you to both for their willingness to share across Dioceses.
