Find out more here... Traditional Indigenous Games Training (TIGs) Thursday May 15, 2014 9.15am to 2.30pm @ James Cook University. TIGs was developed by The Australian Sports Commission, as a resource for schools in the implementation of Indigenous Australian perspectives across the education curriculum, from Kindergarten to Year 12 (K-12). This is an excellent program that supports basic skills development in sports, and the development and enhancement of social skills and cultural knowledge. Seventy Queensland students and 10 chaperones will be selected to witness the historic Anzac Day centenary commemoration in Gallipoli in 2015.
