Understanding Epilepsy and Administration of Midazolam Workshop Wednesday 15 August 2012 - Level 2 Block A, Cairns Base Hospital 10am - 1pm (Registration 9.30am) Epilepsy Qld is coming to Cairns and extends an invitation to People with Epilepsy and their families, Disability Support Workers, Child Care Workers, Teachers, Nurses and Allied Health Professionals to attend a workshop on 'Understanding Epilepsy', an education session on Epilepsy and the Administration of Midazolam. State and National SceneSchool-based Apprenticeship and Traineeship Registration Processes
The new arrangements for the registration of School-based Apprenticeships and Traineeships are available on the DETE website. There is no change to the use of the ETES form in non-government schools (both Independent and Catholic). The completed ETES form is submitted to QCEC as an invoice for seed funding payments. Employability Skills Framework Report Stage One of the Employability Skills Framework project is completed. The report outlines the findings from Stage One and makes recommendations into the development of the actual framework in Stage Two. Details on the web. QATSIF Scholarships Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Foundation (QATSIF) Scholarships will open on 1 June 2012. Secondary schools must complete the new online application form on the QATSIF website. Work Education Certificates Certificate I in Work Education and Certificate I in Work Readiness have been re-accredited until December 2013. Schools will be able to enrol students in the courses until that date. The Foundations Skills Training Package is under development and schooling authorities are encouraged to continue to monitor this package as a possible replacement for 2014. |
