Young people aspiring to a career in agriculture can apply for a $10,000 scholarship to be offered through two of Queensland’s Agricultural Training ten scholarships of $10,000 each would be available under the new program starting in 2014. As part of their application, students will need to provide an explanation of their career plans in Agriculture. The working group is to consist of 5 members from our schools - preferably drawing on a cross section of stakeholders involved at various levels with school libraries. CES will look to this group to provide insight, experience and assistance with investigating the best option for our Diocese. Get Ready Queensland: Disaster Resilience more info on Get Ready Week 14 - 20 October NAPLAN Availability of 2013 student writing scripts: Prep - Year 10 The Queensland Studies Authority (QSA) makes images of the writing scripts available to schools. The scripts will be available from 16 September 2013 until 30 November 2013 only. To access students’ scripts, take these steps before 30 November 2013: • log in to the secure section of the QSA website using your school BIC and password (personal BICs cannot be used): www.qsa.qld.edu.au/qsa_secure/QSAlogin.do • download the files to the school network (as files are large, you may wish to reduce impact on your school’s system by downloading after school or overnight) • ensure that appropriate security measures are in place to maintain privacy and to avoid unauthorised access.
